ELD – What air cargo professionals need to know

Electronic Logging Devices, or ELD's, became law on December 18th last year. There has been a grace period for enforcement since then, but that clock runs out on March 31st. Beginning April 1st, eligible trucks without these devices will be taken out of service. ELD's are designed to better monitor hours in service for commercial drivers for safety and regulatory compliance, but what impact does it have on the trucking industry in general and the air cargo industry in particular?

We have invited a representative from Omnitracs, an ELD manufacturer, to share with us more than second-hand stories but actual first-hand knowledge about the devices, the data they capture and how it is used. If your company uses truckers (and what air forwarder doesn't), this is a session not to miss.
