- April IACAC Luncheon

Disruption. The Uber of [industry]. Digitization. What technologies really WILL change transportation and supply chain?
Our businesses are pressured to buy and deploy the latest and greatest. Our customers ask about bleeding edge technology and whether or not we have it because, "Your competition does."
How as companies in the air cargo industry all working with systems of varying ages measured in years or decades can we communicate and share information? What technology is coming just over the horizon and what would it mean to improve communication, provide better business intelligence, streamline our operations and make them run more safely and efficiently and at what cost? More importantly, when will they be here?
Meet Mark Ketcham of Riege Software International.
Besides a lifetime in the air cargo industry, Mark comes from a family of pilots and in addition to having his own pilot's license, Mark's dad is a private pilot and worked in the IT department with (moment of silence)...Flying Tigers. (Youngsters and n00bs...Google them.)
Mark is going to share his perspective on the future of technology for air cargo from his perch as Vice President, Americas, for Riege, a software firm with four decades of experience providing software and connectivity solutions to forwarders, Customs brokers, airlines and vendors connected to the air cargo and multimodal supply chain.
